In a bustling town with popular shopping complexes, our team took on a great challenge – a multi-phase project at the Clarus housing project in Berkley Heights, NJ. Our mission was to erect a stunning 5-story, 315 piece precast concrete parking garage with a spectacular roof deck and interior courtyard. This was all done to compliment the 211 apartment units, creating an extraordinary development that would leave a lasting impact on the community.
This project was no small feat, but our team of experts was up for the challenge. We leveraged our experience and expertise to maintain the project schedule and achieve the project goals that were set prior to the construction process. And we delivered the project to the highest standards, with quality performance and efficiency that set the bar high for others in the industry.
This project came with its unique set of challenges, such as the location in a busy town adjacent to popular shopping complexes. Shipping coordination required the assistance of the local police force, but our team overcame the obstacles and effectively erected the required precast components with safety to the public as our top priority. Despite the busy traffic and nearby roadways, our workers operated with high efficiency, further showcasing our exceptional performance.
Our success was made possible through the teamwork and communication between the crews, including Nitterhouse Concrete Products, who manufactured the precast, JMF Properties, the general contractor, and our amazing team here at Precast Services Inc. (PSI) who supplied the cranes and labor that allowed for the easy erection of the precast components. This collective effort allowed for a seamless project execution that exceeded expectations.
