As part of a transformative redevelopment effort in East Orange, New Jersey, Precast Services, Inc. was contracted to erect a 7-level, 1,200-space precast concrete parking garage for the Crossings at Brick Church Station project. This large scale, multi-phase urban renewal initiative is designed to serve as an economic catalyst for the city, combining 820 new residential apartments with over 185,000 square feet of retail space to create a vibrant, transit-oriented community hub.

Precast Services, Inc. was responsible for the complete precast assembly and erection of the precast concrete parking structure, which plays a crucial role in supporting the development’s mixed-use design. The garage was engineered to provide convenient, high-capacity parking for residents, shoppers, and commuters using the nearby Brick Church Train Station. Each element was strategically assembled to ensure structural precision, long-term durability, and seamless integration with the surrounding architecture.
Located adjacent to the active train tracks at Brick Church Station, the project presented a unique set of logistical and safety challenges. Precast Services, Inc. worked in close coordination with New Jersey Transit and the project’s construction management team to ensure train operations continued safely and without interruption throughout the erection process. This required detailed planning, precise timing, and proactive communication between all project partners to maintain productivity and safety in a high-traffic environment.
