The Bronx Logistics Center strengthens New York City’s industrial infrastructure by providing a modern, multi-level logistics hub that improves accessibility, efficiency, and capacity for the city’s growing distribution needs.
Precast Services was contracted to erect three major precast structures at the Bronx Logistics Center, a 1.3 million square foot, multi-story, Class-A industrial complex located in the South Bronx. As part of this development, Precast Services, Inc. provided expert precast erection and assembly services, ensuring each element of the structure met the highest standards for durability, alignment, and safety. Designed to serve New York City’s growing logistic needs, this precast assembly project includes a five-level truck garage, a six-level car garage, and a 400-foot-long, 40-foot-tall bridge connecting key areas of the site.
The project site featured a CSX freight railway spur designed to give future tenants potential direct rail access. Its proximity to active CSX and Amtrak lines required extensive coordination between Precast Services, the project team, and rail operators to maintain safe and uninterrupted service throughout precast assembly and erection. Careful scheduling, communication, and planning were essential to ensure both precast assembly efficiency and operational safety.
