Precast Services, Inc. was responsible for the precast erection of a modern 3-supported-level, 388-piece parking garage serving the Capital District Psychiatric Center in upstate New York. The new precast concrete parking structure replaced an existing garage at the facility.
The precast components were provided by Dailey Precast LLC, with Bette & Cring Construction Group serving as the general contractor.

A key challenge of the Capital District Psychiatric Center Parking Garage project was completing the precast erection while the psychiatric center remained open to the public. Keeping the facility operational significantly limited the amount of site space available during construction.
The project team also encountered extreme winter weather conditions, adding another challenge to an already constrained jobsite. Precast Services and its project partners successfully navigated these conditions and completed the project safely and to the satisfaction of those involved.
